Shavasana, translated "corpse pose," is generally the end of a yoga session. It's the place in which the mind goes quiet, the body feels open and the boundaries of the world seem to melt away.
Wouldn't it be amazing if there were techniques that had been developed to help us bring that level of peace and ease into our everyday experience. Components of Everyday Shavasana
There are five different types of experiences, each under 20 minutes, that you will have during this course. They are:
Reading
The beginning of each session starts with a very short article explaining the basic concepts of the section. There might even be a word or two in there that you can use at dinner parties to seem like a smarty pants.
Guided Meditations
These are powerful recorded audio tracks designed using hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming techniques to assist you in building ease and peace in your daily life. People all over the world have used my tracks and are loving them!
Physical Practice
These are short exercises that bring the topic into your body. Sometimes they are activities and other times could be as simple as a yoga pose.
Mental Practice
These are short exercises that ask you to think about things in your life and see what you notice. You might also find they are great party conversation starters.
Inspirational Quotes and Reflection
These are simple quotes from inspiring people that invite you to reflect and integrate the topic for the week more deeply.
